There's little incentive for Bungie to inconvenience the "desticles" (if you will entertain such a name for the group) by such reprimand, even though in many cases their* #Gaming threads would certainly be better suited for all parties in perhaps another forum.
*I stereotype all off-subject threads posted to #Gaming as owned by the aforementioned group and understand that doing so is inherently erroneous unless the definition of "desticle" is to apply to any who fail to recognize the approved discourse for a given forum.

OffTopic has made it clear that anyone who: does not hate Destiny the game frequents #Destiny only joined the forums because of Destiny is a "desticle", is the bottom of the barrel in their forum hierarchy (wtf?) and must prove they are worth their respect while, at the same time, not giving them a baseline of respect to start with. They started calling people "desticles" before the game was even released, so before the mispostigs.
