Hi everyone hope you're all well, important thread this one so pay close attention :-)
I've decided to put gaming on hold for as long as is needed, here's why...
The purpose of this thread is to get some feedback from this community with regards to your thoughts on how you think it could be improved upon, your good experiences, your bad experiences, and everything else in between.
What we would like to do is take your feedback and turn your ideas into reality.
I will sticky this thread in the announcements bar on the groups front page. Our admin can also use this thread in order to discuss and answer anything you guys share, sort of a community help desk if you will.
We really want to hear your opinions regarding everything DoD so don't hold back and tell us what you're thinking! Like I said I'll be taking a back seat with gaming now for a few weeks in order to concentrate on straightening bits and bobs on here, and as always were all available via pm
Ready...aim...fire away guys, it's over to you

Edited by RalphMoustaccio: 9/23/2014 2:04:10 AMI have two pieces of feedback. One will be more helpful than the other. I'll start with the latter to get it off my chest. In recent days, I have seen what I consider a daddier-than-thou attitude cropping up on the main board. Some have even suggested that those of us who have put in substantial time in game and raised our level accordingly are not, in fact, fathers. Yes, I and my other high-level compatriots are running an elaborate ruse to take over the Dads of Destiny. That seems likely. More likely is that some us us work 8-5, have a kiddo who goes to bed at 8 pm, and get on for a few hours after he or she goes to bed. What is wrong with that? Is there now going to be a requirement to show the kid's birth certificate to be a member? I very much doubt it. I joined when there was something around 700 members in the group, and have been shocked (SHOCKED!) at the growth rate. I was worried that because of the huge influx of new members that the level of respect and discourse on this board would decrease. I've been pleasantly surprised, though, that everyone I have interacted with has still been super cool and respectful when they respond to comments. I don't appreciate, though, it being insinuated that I am somehow a bad father (or not even one at all) because I put too much game time in for someone else's liking. Perhaps more mod/admin interaction to shut down those types of statements is needed, such that it is even possible. I don't know, but it's been bugging me. Second, and actually constructive, is that the Dad-a-Base is having some problems. I cannot access the CST/PST list for PS4 players, which includes where I live, so it's hard for it to be useful in finding other players from those regions. Is anyone else having trouble? If so, can it be fixed? Also, most of my board posts and perusal is on my phone via the Destiny app. The D-a-B does not format well for mobile and is therefore hard to use on that medium. Perhaps that is just a Google Docs issue. I don't really know, as I don't use it for anything else.
