Cave Farming Vs. Rep Farming
I know looting the cave is easy and you don't have to put any effort in it at all, but there is another activity that you can do that will be even better. There are these things that I like to call, "Loot Circles" in zone scattered across the 4 different play zones. Honestly I don't give 2 blam*ing rats blam*s about your loot method but you guys just look silly when you could be out in a random zone farming 200 spinmetal in 45 mins, potential huge amounts of blue and legendary engrams, completing patrol missions and world events ALL AT THE SAME BLAM*ING TIME!
That's right folks that means you gain huge amounts of rep, items and marks of WHICHEVER REP FACTION YOU CHOOSE!

1 ReplyEdited by TLadwin: 9/23/2014 3:14:45 PMTLDR; you guys should memorize where chests are in a little area and run a circle in the area to farm dem chests, kill dem fallen/hive/vex/big dudes/whatever, get bajillions of rep with any faction, get blueprints for rare ships! and reap the blam*ing benefits! I have terrible luck and came up with this myself, I know others out there do similar activities between strikes and raids and crucible upsets. If you would like to be a part of this movement to make people enjoy destiny more then please add me to XBL, check my profile, everything I have got is through hard work and having fun. I'm on Xbox One and I'm trying to set up raiding parties (level 27 all exotics and legendaries). I hope this has/will become something.

Edited by TLadwin: 9/23/2014 3:14:14 PMSpinmetal is refined into marks and reputation for EITHER Vanguard or its supplicants OR the crucible! For example: you find all the chests in a given area, where all of them spawn, remember them. Continue running to where all the chests spawn and kill every enemy that spawns, doing patrol missions that only consist of killing things or slightly going off the circle to get to (you can abandon quests that you dont want to do by pressing select and holding Y). In about 30 mins of doing this I can farm about 200-300 spinmetal, 8000 glimmer, kill 100's of enemies, collect 15-20 blue/legendary engrams, complete 15 patrol missions (each one giving 10 or 25 rep), the world event about 3 times (often by myself cus y'all are standing at a cave) and then reaping the rewards! My loot circle, which I've shown to members of my clan who get bored of standing somewhere and shooting and nothing else, takes about 3-4 minutes to complete, yielding anywhere between 6-12 chests each is very simple, give high yield ratios and are not BORING!
