Sorry, I have to kindly disagree. I've taken a shotgun to Titans at point-blank range before and not been able to kill them before they off me. Granted I'm not good either, but if Titans were that severely underpowered I'd have no problems killing, dodging, or catching up with them. I'm a Hunter, so I can't say from experience playing as a Titan. However I can definitely say being a squishy character with an abysmal recovery rate has been difficult in the Crucible. It would be different if I was a better shot, I'm sure; however, as it stands now I can hardly get in kills without Assists.

  • I don't believe the three base stats (armor, agility, recovery) are taken into consideration in PvP. All level advantages are disabled and I think this is one of them. Not sure if its 100% accurate, but I'm guessing by what I have seen personally. I have killed all 3 classes with the same amount of head shots using my scout rifle that I always use in the crucible, so that's how I figured that out. I think the new game type, Iron Banner, will be the one to take weapon DPS numbers into consideration. They said it is a sort of no-holds-barred game type where your gear and defense numbers and base stats etc., matter. But as far as Control Clash Skirmish Salvage and Rumble is concerned, everyone has the same base HP. Another thing I noticed is that no matter my primary weapons damage rating, if it is a auto rifle, it will do X amount of damage per critical. Same goes with a scout rifle. If I do get a critical hit I do, say 98 damage, and if I switch to a different scout rifle, no matter rarity or DPS, I will do 98 damage. The damage per bullet, per gun seems to be how they streamlined different classes of primary weapons, special weapons, and so forth. Sorry if what I'm saying doesn't make sense, but it was the best I could explain it.

  • How have you set your ability stats? I compensate for the low recovery by upping the armor. I use Path of the Unknown and Way of the Fearless

  • Even with higher armor I still take hard hits from pretty much everything. I think I have 2/3 of the armor stat bar filled in. I'll have to check later though; taking a break to study.

  • Alright, and remember: When on one on one gunfights, the person with the better aim usually wins. Remember to keep your bullet grouping right on their skull

  • I think that's part of my problem. I get nervous and move my cursor at the last second, trying to compensate for where I think they're going to move, lmao. I also forget that my weapons have pretty good recoils to them when in PvP... Still though, I've watched my wife play a bit on her Titan and she doesn't take nearly as much damage as I do on my Hunter. :p

  • The recoil is something you will have to fix, since we hunters depend on precision. A new weapon with higher stability or weapon upgrades for that should do the trick. Also, we Gunslingers get an ability which increases your weapon stability temporarily whenever you get a kill, so that should help. As for your wife taking more hits, thats because titans have higher base stat of Armor :). We Hunters only get agility, which isn't so bad since you can just leap away from someone shooting at you.

  • If they're a bad enough shot to miss you in the air, that is xD And I'm a Bladedancer, so I get no extra stability. :( The weapon that I'm having problems with in terms of stability does get a nice stability boost in a couple more upgrades. ;)

  • Nice, that ill definitely come in handy! I was having this issue also, but when I got my Shingen-E it fixed it nicely. Max Stability, and Max rate of fire, at the costs of almost no impact ( so no staggering any bad guys)

  • Hey, but that sounds like it'd be amazing for PvP warfare :p
