5 Things Destiny need to fix immediately!

First off, I like Destiny. I like it as much as Halo: Combat Evolved when it first came out, and I think Destiny's release is pretty much on par with that fantastic game. With that said, I think that there are some tweaks that Desiny could do that would take this from a good/great game to THE next gen game that was promised. 1) Incorporate the Story into the Story: Obviously a ton has been said about Destiny's lack of story, which is UNTRUE! I have collected all of the ghosts (that I could with a couple being bugged), and read all the grimoire cards: There is a great story waiting to be told! So Bungie, PLEASE incorporate the story that you have created into the game! Try using audio files that tell some of the history (like Borderlands or Diablo) or let us access the grimoire in game. It would also be nice if the Cryptarchs or other NPCs let out a bit of story as you leveled up with them or something. Just give us more of the story in the story please! 2) Allow access to grimoire progress in game: I would LOVE to know how many more fallen kills I need to get and what the rewards are. It would be great if I could pull up my current progress on ALL of my bonus reward progress to determine what area I will go patrol next or what enemy I will fight. I get little glimpses (fallen rank 2 750/1000), but it tells me nothing. yeah, I know I can go to the grimoires to find it, but it can me a maze to find that info. Yeah, I also know that I can find the closest rank ups on the companion app, but it doesn't tell me the rewards. Just a little effort here would go a LONG way in making us not lose our minds looking in three different places to find what we need 3) Loot Drops: There has been so much said about this that I won't go into it too much, but when it comes down to it, Bungie needs to figure out if this is a loot game FPS or not, and reconfigure the loot drops accordingly. The best example that anyone can use for loot drops in either Borderlands or Diablo. Both are very well engineered. 4) Join Fireteam: this needs to be an immediate fix. I hate the fact that if I want to join my two friends already engaged in something that I have to go out of the game and join them through the friends app. Why can't this be done in game? I get it, you don't want random people dropping into your fireteams, but there should be an easy way to allow everyone, friends, or no one to join, and then a player should be able to accept or decline the request. EVERY MMO in the history of man has this, so I don't know why this is such a difficult concept. The only option of "Join my Fireteam" is not good 5) Player to Player comminucation: Bungie has to figure out a way to allow players to communicate with each other in the tower or out on the open fields. It would be great if there was a chat function or something. I see the right stick interact option when I run into people, but it rarely helps as we just end up waving, dancing and pointing at each other. I also understand that people don't often have their mics on, but maybe the ability to quick chat would change that. Who knows. Like I said above, I like this game, and it is a good game, but I would LOVE to see it get better! ElRenegato
