Lol seriously. I predicted this from the beginning, before alpha. I said if you randomize drops, you are contradicting the very method you claim to pursue. You don't "earn " that which is randomly given to you.

During the first month of the games release my buddy got hard light for finishing at the top of the team and few weeks later I got plan C from finishing 3rd. Have yet to see someone in the bottom 2 get an exotic
-
A mate of mine got 1 kill and 4 assists on a control match. -blam!- got the last word
-
I'm going to explain this in one simple comment; Bungie doesn't care, because if you've noticed, hundreds of awesome ideas are presented and I haven't seen one pop into the game. In short, Good suggestions are bad mojo in their eyes.
-
played first game of crucible in a long time yesterday... got my 2nd dragons breath after a 30+ kill game was top of my team

Edited by Toketotem: 1/8/2015 5:15:30 PMI look at it like a drug dealer of sorts. I definitely think there is something to it, and not solely RNG. People that are bad, and/or don't play much get hooked up with loot to try and peek their interest. Like a pusher trying to get people hooked. People who are already hooked and play a lot see fewer drops to keep them playing, and grinding for the drops. "GOT ANYMORE OF THAT STUFF MAN!?!?" It's genius really.

Edited by DjNormal: 1/8/2015 5:08:46 PMI've seen as many middle of the road and high scoring people get good stuff too. People just freak because afk'ers can get loot, which is a problem. The bad players that got loot I'm fine with. Destiny hands out participation awards, not achievement awards. Edit: I've been bad at PVP since always and I've still never gotten an exotic from PVP.

Earn is not a good word for this game, at all.
-
Yep, if you don't mind having a complete shit KDR, just go into the Crucible and fart around for about 8-12 matches and you are bound to get an exotic. I did get a Thunderlord once while coming in second or first, can't recall, it was the only time I've seen an exotic handed to someone who wasn't at the bottom of the list.

Its a welfare system. The worse you perform or don't try hard enough, the governing body will take pity and try to give you all the best gear so you can level up to be on par with everyone else.
-
I'm glad there is no trading. Otherwise everyone would run with the best gear. I think RNG is a very nice system in Destiny. Still, I need an Epilogue!
-
Guide for people who want to get Icebreaker lol
-
What a blessing it will be when a developer figures out how to adequately reward a player based on performance. Almost 50 runs in VoG, still no Fate Bringer. RNGesus can EAD.
-
So thats how you get ice breaker! Gonna farm all day!
-
My wife watched me play a few games in the crucible and asked, "So why don't you do bad on purpose so you can get loot? Do they reward the losers for any particular reason?"
-
-
Damn I wanted to make a super post about this, this is good though, Bungie needs to fix their shit Also, in the pic the game still wants to give the guy at the bottom more loot lol

Bringing this back
-
So if trading become available, and that happened again you would demand his reward be given to you and expect him to actually give it to you? Trading would have to be agreed by both players and not take take it because "they don't deserve it".

Stop crying about loot drops and go complete a raid where you're guaranteed legendary stuff

I like turtles...
-
You make this sound like a big deal

The more you play the more you get. Simple. Embrace the grind
