I come top 3 usually in crucible but i did the bounty ''20 headshots with a handcannon" i came dead last and was rewarded my first legendary, never got a legendary when i was top 3 though.
Random yeah course it is.

Yesterday I was on a really good PVP run, I think I went 5 or 6 games being the top player in the game by a pretty substantial amount. I didnt get a single item the entire time, but I did see about 10 coins, a couple motes and 2 legendary engrams get given out to my teammates. If that type of thing didnt happen constantly maybe I would enjoy PVP.
