Really? People who do poorly get exotic rewards and that's fine? People who take down difficult challenges get nothing and that's ok? It's a spiteful system that encourages crappy game tactics such as the loot cave. An RNG system can be enjoyable, Bungie just hasn't figured out how to do that correctly.
