Yesterday i done some crucible matches and in everyone i had over 25 kills with a 8>k/d
In the final match i had 32 kills and a 9.0k/d rating....the rest of my team had some scrap kills as usual.
But the guy at the bottom of my team with 3 kills and 14 deaths got an exotic.
I was done....PS button > close application>throw down controller.
You dont earn anything in Destiny other then whats at the normal vendors.
The rest is luck.

The only thing i can think of is that they are trying to get the people who go shit, get good stuff so they will do better but the better person should get rewarded

Come to think of it though, it seems like you never get anything good and people that are shite get good stuff is probably because its 1/6. Regardless of place and even if you are first, there is an exponentially higher chance that the people below you will get gear where as you may not.

Additionally, you don't earn anything in Destiny other THAN WHAT'S at the normal vendors.

Guess the game thought: "Well that guy was doing well anyhows. This guy is struggling... let's make it interesting and give him incentive to do well!". Tadaa!

If only was that way. But its not. Its built on luck and the RNG as we have all seen top players recieve good loot but its still not earnt , it was given to them through luck which needs to change. People with skill need to be rewarded and given an incentive to keep being good and get even better. Even if its a few extra marks , anything that says "your a skilled gaurdian , you earned this" You know like all the things in the game that Bungie have crafetd to say Guardians will earn through skill. Ive got a mate they came into my match near the end , he didnt get any kills but died 6 times. At the end he was rewarded a hunters cloak which said something along the lines of "Cloak earned by the most skilled of Gaurdians" Even he laughed at that.

The solution is simple. They keep RNG, but the top 1-2 players get guaranteed loot. But I guess that's too easy a solution.

And last game I played, I got the helmet my character is atm wearing. Legendary. And I don't think I've earned it. I did end up in positive K/D and we ended up winning, but still.
