I know this is a troll post, but im going to respond seriously.
I live in Norfolk Va, home to Peta HQ. We have a high density of vegans here. And knowing them has solidified thefact i will never go vegan.
They have to take so many suppliments, and have a hard time staying at a healthy weight, let alonetrying not to eat junk food, all because fo being vega. Anddont even let me count the healthissues they deal with due to mineral andvitamin deficiences, contraryu to popular belief, you cant really suppliment over 50-55% of your needs in pill form.
Going vegan is against the nature of the beast, we are omnivores. Im not saying eat meat with every meal, but the protien is good for you.

I'm in Chesapeake, and it's alright. This happened almost a year ago, it's just the most significant event in my life to happen in that city so it's the first thing I remember there. I can't go out to drink since i'm still only twenty, but thanks for the offer.

Was born and raised vegan till I was 28 years old . And I would never go back! As a man you need the protein , vegan diet is not healthy for a man unless you want increased estrogen levels that make you an emotional turd, and only want to have little girls for children. Eating healthy in general is key but having a nice medium rare steak after a 15 mile run or awesome night with the wife is the best. Eating a damn salad and calling it the meal is sad. Salad is the promissory note that real food will follow lol that's why restaurants give it first.

Edited by Pendulate: 10/1/2014 12:30:17 AMThere are plenty of vegan protein sources that don't contain estrogen. Vegans don't "eat salads and call it the meal". For someone who claims to have been vegan for 28 years, you have a limited grasp of the lifestyle. Either you aren't being truthful, or your parents were terribly uneducated about nutrition -- in which case it's no wonder you think it's unhealthy.

Especially bad for children.

Couldn't agree more it caused my depression to be worse than ever when I was young. Once I finally ate meat I was fine , and felt stronger and healthy.

Edited by Pendulate: 9/29/2014 12:28:39 PM-A properly structured vegan diet usually only needs supplementation for B12, Vitamin D and iodine. Maybe DHA. If your anecdote is accurate, those people simply weren't doing it properly. -Most meat eaters need supplements too. -Our ability to digest meat says nothing about whether we need it or not. And basic nutrition tells us we don't. -And protein is abundant in plant foods.

I'm not Peta. We don't live like nature anymore, I won't stop you if you want to. If you want to live like nature, go run around naked in the woods, catching prey with your bare hands, good luck!

Retardationconfirmed. it doesnt work that way, considering the biological norm for almost our whole history, has been omnivore, health problems ensue when you change the status quo. Good job on addressing my points, retard.
-
But science found ways to replace meat, why would we still need it than?
-
So scientifically engineered food is healthier ?!? Lol no offense but I will stick with nature . Milk from nuts or soy beans or oil from a vegetable does not work .. Go squeeze a almond and tell me how much milk you get out of it . See how long you survive in nature without tofu .

Edited by PietjeVM: 10/2/2014 3:14:00 PMWhy would I want to survive in nature? I live in a house, not in a cave, so I eat plants, not meat
