We are investigating and are finding some strange results. If you are seeing issues that appear to be related to yesterday's even, please do reply and let us know.
That said, a number of the problems being reported in this thread are not related. Keep an eye on @BungieHelp and help.bungie.net for updates.

[/b]The fix we are applying is to solve for players that can't get past the start screen to character select without hitting CENTIPEDE. This fix will not help those that are already playing and get disconnected with CENTIPEDE errors.
We have applied the fix to the majority of the reported accounts, and there is a good chance you can now play. Please test your account and reply to your post here to let us know if it worked! It is especially helpful for us to hear if our fix is allowing you to play. If you are still having problems please be patient as we apply the fix to all impacted accounts.

Probably not but you can hope. I think we should get the gear we have missed out on from xur. Spent ages saving those counselling and now the gear i want is gone. Not to mention missing out on 3 days of Queens wrath. It should be extended.

Mine is unchanged. I can get to the character selection screen just fine,but get the centipede error when trying to load my main character (but my other character works fine). PSN = taxiwardancer
