We are investigating and are finding some strange results. If you are seeing issues that appear to be related to yesterday's even, please do reply and let us know. That said, a number of the problems being reported in this thread are not related. Keep an eye on @BungieHelp and help.bungie.net for updates. [from the thread linked in this post] [b]UPDATE [9/27]: [/b]The fix we are applying is to solve for players that can't get past the start screen to character select without hitting CENTIPEDE. This fix will not help those that are already playing and get disconnected with CENTIPEDE errors. We have applied the fix to the majority of the reported accounts, and there is a good chance you can now play. Please test your account and reply to your post here to let us know if it worked! It is especially helpful for us to hear if our fix is allowing you to play. If you are still having problems please be patient as we apply the fix to all impacted accounts.

    since I started destiny over 2 weeks ago, I'd only lost my connection about 4 times But since the update early yesterday evening in the UK (25th sept), where my PS4 did a quick install following the server reboot, I've lost my connection around 7 or 8 times in the last 24 hours over about 5 or 6 play hours - sometimes I'm booted back into orbit; sometimes right back to the main screen - several times I get the "attn. contacting destiny servers" message just before being booted out, othertimes I'm booted out with centipede, beaver, and even fly (which is irrelevant to my network system) because of the sudden high incidence of disconnections I've received immediately following the update, the cause of the problems surely must be the update

  • And of course now that I say something about my account I start having the centipede problem same as everyone else, I did not have this problem yesterday and I literally was just able to log in an hour ago with no issue but realized my account had been reset in progress a couple days and tried logging out and back in just now and I am now getting the constant centipede error code

  • Update: refreshed my page that i left on my profile screen. I was automaticly logged out and while i wasnt signed in i could seem my lvl 28 hunter and lvl 3 warlock on my profile. when i logged back in and tried to access the page i got an error code.

  • After yesterday's update can no longer log in. Get constant centipede error yet can log in perfectly fine on another live account.....

  • I believe this is the cause of my frustration right now....my account was basically reset of all progress I made yesterday and a little of the night before. I had acquired a few legendary items and bought an exotic auto rifle for 23 coins and nearly gained a level on my 26 titan and gained a few levels on my 9 hunter and I logged in today to see that all of my progress had been lost. But ofter I logged into my destiny app to see my account on another source, I noticed it had the same near level completion progress for my titan from yesterday but as I clicked on my titan character all of my items had reverted to what I saw on my xbox. This is very angering as I have now just all of the sudden lost the last two days of work on my characters. If this can be fixed I would very much appreciate it.

  • I cant log in at all. When i select my character it tells me that my connection to the servers has been lost (Error code: Centipede). I havent been able to play at all since the the 25th, the date of the last update. My internet connection is not the problem either because i can play every other game online except destiny. A fix would be appreciated.(PS4)

  • Cannot log onto my main character, I can log onto my alt, or start a new character but cannot get onto my Main Character. I play on a ps4 and was tryign to enter the crucible when this happen. FIX this PLEASE. such BS.

  • Error code zebra. I received a legendary hunter chest from an engram, then was booted while trying to deposit in my vault. I received new engrams from the postmaster once logging back in. Identified them and quickly dismantled. Booted a few more times and now the original legendary hunter chest is in my inventory. Can't deposit or dismantle. Engrams were also from leveling Cryptarch. His level is correct, but the hunter chest is bugged. Xbox one console.

  • I was playing on xbox one yesterday trying to decrypt a legendary special weapon engram when I got kicked after the hotfix. Since then I have tried everything that was suggested, even tried moving my system to a friends house. I keep getting the error centipede.

  • I can't get on to Destiny at all. Reading all these I assume its caused by an update yesterday that specifically affects my account. My friends can get on my Xbox One and play Destiny, but when I try to get on mine or their Xbox One to play I continuously receive the centipede error. I would GREATLY appreciate it if this problem could get fixed before it's too late to purchase that exotic auto rifle this weekend.

  • all i did yesterday was some patrolling, and 1 strike mission, the one on the moon, got kicked before i could finish it, and still haven't been able to get in my account Big_Ken_Dawg, playing on ps3!! so much hard work on my character gone to waste... so i guess what you guy's want us to be able to show for our hard work, is a glitched account?!?!

  • My master account has Ps plus on my ps4 and I can't sign in, but on the same console another psn id with is not the master accent, doesn't have Ps plus I played just fine no issues. I switch back to my main acct and can't do anything.

  • Same problem here. Turned in some bounties when everything was playing fine, then got kicked off. Logged back in to see bounties back in my inventory. Played some more and logged around 5pm PST. Haven't been able to get past Destiny start screen after that; centipede error. Can't see character in destiny app either.

  • this started yesterday morning for me, constantly being booted than finaly not being able to sign in to the FIRST character slot, i created a second character who is able to log in perfectly fine and not be booted however that first slot is still popping up with centipede before even taking me to orbit it appears to be a problem with that first character slot, however out of all the people i play with im the only one to have their account effected any feedback would be greatly helpful

  • Was working just fine yesterday got a few things out of the vault and dismantled them. Went and got some food. Came back to play some more and now all I get is centipede error. Today I go and check my account on bungie.net and I can't even see my characters. This is making me really upset!

  • After the update yesterday i was able to play but sometimes had disconnects. After i logged out for the evening i am now facing centipede errors. I cant even get to the character selection. My wife can play fine under her account on the same console so it is not network related. I am also unable to view my profile here on bungie.net. it gives the error that it was unable to load my destiny profile and to try again later.

  • Can confirm is not network related. Tried different profile in same console and was able to play without errors. It is definetely something account related and was affected since yesterday after hours of gameplay. I remember accessing vault just before the errors had begun!
