We are investigating and are finding some strange results. If you are seeing issues that appear to be related to yesterday's even, please do reply and let us know.
That said, a number of the problems being reported in this thread are not related. Keep an eye on @BungieHelp and help.bungie.net for updates.

[/b]The fix we are applying is to solve for players that can't get past the start screen to character select without hitting CENTIPEDE. This fix will not help those that are already playing and get disconnected with CENTIPEDE errors.
We have applied the fix to the majority of the reported accounts, and there is a good chance you can now play. Please test your account and reply to your post here to let us know if it worked! It is especially helpful for us to hear if our fix is allowing you to play. If you are still having problems please be patient as we apply the fix to all impacted accounts.

UPDATE: for all the xbox one users having issues getting past a loading screen, try unplugging the power( I did it with the console still on) and then waited a minute before plugging it in. Seems to have done the trick. Hope it works for everyone else!

Xbox one gamer tag: HisRoyalThunder. I got booted out of a crucible game two days ago and got a cattle error. Every attempt to launch the game ends in me sitting at an initial loading screen that never goes away.

Gametag sas2011 Console ps4 I can't login with my main hunter class that holds all my best gear as of today after completing the vault of glass and the nightfall which I'm not impressed with due to getting 3 assenant energy as a reward so this just adds insult to injury please get the game sorted or give me a refund all my clan members feel the same way.

I just unplugged my xbox one from the power and restarted it. This seems to have done the trick. I have been getting repeated cattle codes since yesterday evening. I hope this works for others.

Same for me. No problems getting to the character select screen. But can not login to my character. Thats pretty screwed up.

Fix your damn game. I have done everything even formatted my xbox. This is hands down the worst game company. I want to play!!!!! 5 days not being able to play a game i payed for is ridiculous. I expect extreme compensation when this is fixed. Well if it is ever fixed.
