Goddamn I loved halo wars, I played the shit out of it, so many hours a day
I can't be the only one...
That game was so damn fun. I definitely played my ass off for a year straight and I'm still playing it now.

Playing it right now haha it's amazing! I've owned it since the release.

I was disappointed because i already had command and conquer kanes wrath which was way more intense with a lot more of everything but since it was halo i enjoyed the campaign.

Was cool for a console RTS

I've always been a little disappointed that it wasn't like the other Halos. Before I heard it was an RTS, I had imagined a Reach-esque prequel set in the early days of the Human-Covenant War, fighting through the Campaign with a squad of 14-year-olds in power armor (which the Spartans were when they first got the Mark IV. You know it, I know it, and Christ knows the Halo Archive knows it). That kind of disappointment... it just kinda sticks, you know? But, in its own way, it's still pretty fun. And to this day, when I've achieved the perfect balance of Korean-eyed stoned and caffeine-fueled hyperthinking and rage, it is just outstandinger than hell.
