12 hours have passed since any update from Bungie. Is this really not a high priority item? [b]Innocent people are locked out of their accounts here.[/b] With the original poster (Endlex) still waiting and no one confirming that their account has been fixed, my guess is that we are all going to miss our opportunity to play with our friends and family this weekend, as well as miss out on Xur and the remaining days left with Queen's Wrath. All of this and with [b]zero compensation[/b] in sight; prepare to suck it up and lose some progress everybody. Bungie is too busy with the next patch to satisfy 150+ users that can't even login, we just happened to be playing during their last hotfix and unfortunately we have to "pay the price." The real question we all need to start asking is, [b]"What kind of compensation will we be getting for your mistake, Bungie?"[/b] We paid real money for your product which we haven't been able to access for nearly 48 hours, while being left in the dark for 12 consecutive hours. This is a business and a professional business company would start laying down a plan to compensate their customers. Its time to get on the phone with Activision.

  • 53 hours and my account is still bugged, if not resolved come Monday I will be contacting Activision for a full refund and commenting on the extremely poor customer service expressed by Bungie and affiliates. [b]I will also discontinue purchasing any products produced or sold by Bungie henceforth.[/b] This is highly unprofessional, especially with the lack of communication from official sources (we're not even front page on the "News" section.) Its sad because I used to have great respect for Bungie but this is really beginning to show their renewed nature as an amateur company with very little respect for their paying customers. Frankly, I've seen smaller game companies with much better customer interaction and support. Even a restaurant would offer free appetizers for their mistake. [b]No response only confirms all of the above.[/b]

  • Funny thing is that day I saw the message of the day pop up about the maintenance and hotfix. I was playing and was like " oh shit I'm logging off before they screw something up." Not soon enough apparently. Servers coming down for fixes and maintenance is not abnormal and is done for a reason. This reason.

  • I'm not so sure that playing during the hot fix has anything to do with it. I haven't played in a week and I'm having the issues too. I think it was the hot "fix".

  • yes i expierience all this before the instalation of the fix. strange thing there was mslfunction from my net provider so i thought that is my fault... but then after repair the internet went back other games play smoothly online but not destiny. saw on forum number of simillar problems across world. then started to be enraged... meh:(

  • I couldn't agree more. Especially since i've had a bounty to talk to Xur all week clogging up my bounty slots and if I have to go for another week with that I might just abandon it. Not to mention the fact i've been farming up rep/marks to buy a rare sparrow so that i could upgrade it to a legendary sparrow (which requires a purchase from Xur). I would honestly be happy if they just fixed my account and put a 1-2 day extension of Xur this week so that the players that have been bugged can still access his current inventory.

  • I appreciate your comment. I'm trying not to be a bit butthurt over being OP and not having my case solved before some others. That being said, I don't have any insight into how this issue varies from person to person, so it could very well be a lot more complicated to fix my account than others. As far as compensation I'd just appreciate my exotic bounty being progressed past talking to Xur if I cannot do so myself by end of day. I am just a simple man with simple needs aha.

  • D'accord. Agreed in every point. Very poor support by Bungie/Activision. Spent 105 € including seasonpass. I don't expect an always on game to work 24/7 but being treated like a cash cow sucks. No answers to any posts. Loved Borderlands 2: bugged as hell, but great community management.

  • Very well said Sir, It's been nearly 48 hours now since the last time I was able to acces my character yet I still don't know why or what caused the problem to my character. I have never used any glitch in the game but still have to pay the price of not playing since these problems are most likely caused by the patch to fix the cave farming exploit. Bungie, what the hell?
