I'm pretty sure the description for the starting gear mentions that your ghost created it (at least for the warlock). So you shouldn't have had any pockets cause you were nekkid.

Oh.. well oops. i guess i figured id be wearing the clothes i died in. guess they might be decomposed by now..

Who knows, maybe the ghost just created your armor around what you were already wearing. If that's the case then my previous statement is irrelevant.
