It's still a poor argument to continue doing it. Take somebody born of r.ape, for example. They could say, "r.ape is the only reason I am alive today. Therefore r.ape is a good thing and we should all do it." Is this reasonable?

I don't think this is going anywhere. I don't remember ever saying -blam!- was ok or anything remotely comparable to that. I also don't remember saying that it was an excuse. I was simply pondering the possibility. You win, k?
