People really need to show some self-displine and NOT BUY THE DLC. The only power we have against such underhanded tactics is through our money. Buying into this will only encourage developers to continue this b.s.
It's a tactic that software devs are resorting to more and more often these days—creating a product that generates a steady stream of revenue with little-to-no effort on the part of the devs. Many companies are doing it through subscription "services" (a la Adobe & Microsoft); others, such as Activision/Bungie, are releasing their product piecemeal, with the sum of its parts costing a lot more than a traditional game does (i.e. $60.)
The only way we can put an end to this silly game of theirs is to simply not play.
