Would you rather pay a monthly membership fee like WoW or ESO? Or microtransactions like mobile games? Business is business no matter how much the devs tell you they do it for the sake of gaming.

Or ill just stop playing the game because it isn't that good!
-
Well I'm gonna take my business else where and by the sounds of the forums a lot are following , I'm not paying for half a game so I can buy the rest later

[quote]Would you rather pay a monthly membership fee like WoW or ESO? Or microtransactions like mobile games? Problem being is most of the players here don't know what an mmo is yeah yeah they said it's not to be called an mmo thing is .... It is just not massive it still contains EVERYTHING A MMO OFFERS.
-
It is people like you that cause them to do this crap.
-
No they'll just increase the prices and release whatever content as they damn please regardless what people buy it. Bitching and moaning on forums about it won't get you anywhere go picket & riot outside of Bungie or activison. Otherwise stfu and don't be a hypocrite and actually boycott the game you saw Activision produced the game you know how they do things. It's actually people like you that allow it.

Edited by FlashSentry: 9/28/2014 10:27:56 PMI'm not one of the TOOLS buying dlc and defending this idiotic practice like you are.
-
I would rather have a complete game without cut content.
-
Then quit video games. That's where they all seem to be heading now.
-
Problem is, the gaming industry is going to implode.
-
I rather fight for what is right.

Edited by Xeytrix: 9/28/2014 10:09:09 PMThis. The only game you pay monthly for are mmos with constant updates, patchs, and content. You wanna buy micro transactions for events like the Queens wrath, which is the same content with different modifiers? Skyrim was a full game without expansions needed.
-
Wouldn't that be the publishers decision instead of bungies?
-
All games have cut content somewhere like he said business is business.
-
Except cut content isn't turned around and sold as DLC. Hell, this isn't even cut content, it's disk locked content.
-
Actually "disc locked" is usually turned into DLC at some point, a lot of other games have done it.
-
Yes, and it's deplorable for them to do it too.
-
If you don't like it don't buy it. No one is twisting your arm.
-
Edited by The Waifu Master: 9/28/2014 10:52:02 PMToo late, I thought I was going to get the full game with my $60 so I preordered the thing. Sadly, through the act of deplorable company tactics I got screwed.

Business is business friend.
-
Sure thing man, I'm going to go shoot someone now and steal their money. Because, business is business.
-
Totally not the same thing.
-
It's completely the same thing. You're saying that bungie can boldface lie about a product, prevent me from playing the product they sold to me, and then sell me access to content I already payed for. That's actually illegal, if you didn't know.
-
Then sue. If you're that upset attempt to sue Bungie. Otherwise stop playing Destiny and all future Bungie/Activision products. I highly doubt you'll do either. You payed 60 dollars for a game, you don't have access to the content, it's not available yet, when it comes time for release, don't buy it.
-
Edited by The Waifu Master: 9/28/2014 11:26:55 PMI don't have the money to sue a company as large as Activision. You know what I can do though? Steal other people's money. And with your logic it's completely okay to do so. And if the people I steal money from don't like it, well, they should just not ever get near me again.
-
No one stole anything from you. Stealing implies that it was taken from you and most often by force, you willingly payed 60 dollars and unfortunately were disappointed. So no, you stealing someone's money is NOT the same thing.
