And yet every November everyone rushes out and gets the newest COD and their season pass for crap that can be accessed on day one...but with this game it's like it's the end of the world

Just for the record, I am one of those people who don't rush out to get CoD. I have the first one for PC (WWII) and it suits me just fine. and... Because of this game, I will no longer pre-order any game ever again. I feel like a moron for purchasing the DLC as well with that pre-order. Thanks Activision, you taught me a valuable lesson. I'll be waiting to watch Angry Joe reviews before I purchase another game, especially from your company. That guy's review of Destiny was spot on. I feel sorry for Bungie to have you as a publisher.

If by "everyone" you mean an ever decreasing number of people, then yes "everyone" is going out every year to buy the new COD. Also the reason the vast majority of people here and myself are pissed off is because this kind of practice should not be accepted regardless of the title or company behind it. This is so anti-consumer its completely ridiculous and your sitting here defending it for what reason?

when mw2 came out there was a huge line for it release day, when black ops 1 came out there was sort of a line for it release day, now the store orders tons of cod expecting to sell them and there's never a line for them anymore. havent seen people line up for a cod game since black ops 1 and that was like 6 people. mw2 had people half way around the store.

Oh but now that Bungie has DLC and you have to pay for it it becomes a problem and Bungie is to blame...this is the way that games are going and you can thank Infinity Ward and Treyarch and a slew of other companies from other games for starting it...but me personally I didn't have a problem buying the season pass for this game or any of the Borderlands games cuz to me it will be money well spent on content and a game that "I" know I will love and enjoy

Good point.
