There is no " proof " that the content is on the disc. The only evidence of anything is that the positions on the map have already been determined ( which makes sense ), and markers were put in place to secure their position.
One video shows " reef raid " as the title for the raid on the reef. I'm sure Bungie has a far more creative name for it than that, but that shows that it was a placeholder icon on the map. Makes one part of the final job easier.

I wonder what happened that made Guardians go against the Awoken... hmmm, could it have to do with the Winter's Run mission that had to do with the Archon Priest??? So many possibilities.

Edited by WookieeArmy: 9/29/2014 12:30:20 AMLol. There is tons of proof that a lot of those areas are in the game with enemy in them.

Edited by Ex_Seven: 9/29/2014 12:41:25 AMHave you been to King's Watch, yet? It's locked off, but can be glitched into with working spawning, a mini-boss and several dead ghosts to collect. Oh, yeah and you could get to it, along with other areas, in the beta too, which still aren't available.
-
Even if Kings watch is there I don't think they've finished it yet. I'm sure the actual physical space is there but the missions and stuff aren't designed yet. Also I agree that those are placeholder icons. There is no way it is called reef raid.
-
You're actually spot on. Bungie so far only figured out where and what the DLC missions would take place and they named those areas... crap like Reef Raid is only a code name so that they know that this mission is going to be an attack on the Queen.... even though I wonder how that came to be...
-
I don't think it will be against the Queen. I think we will be helping her.
-
I'll bet it has to do with the Fallen House of Wolves.
-
I've seen the videos of that. Its a tiny area blocked off that we haven't been able to get to yet. There's no way to tell if thats part of DLC , for all we know it could have something to do with an event in the coming weeks. And even if it is part of the DLC, I wouldn't be shocked to see small things retained for a later time. Granted, entire zones, missions, strikes, and raids would be a problem.
-
I guess only time will tell man.
-
You do realise all those DLC areas are in our game RIGHT now right? But we cannot see it or get to them because they LOCKED the content on our disc's.
-
Unless someone has physically entered the area and seen it, marks on a map don't impress me, especially when their names are clearly placeholders.
-
And yes Kyle, there are Videos of people inside the cut content already.
-
I already seen vids of people on Mercury doing the Osiris Trials.
-
I am actually glad I am having a pleasant arguement with you. Usually its all "-blam!- you noob" or " your bad". I appreciate your honesty.
-
Trust me, Id be very upset if what many here are saying was true. I have more faith in Bungie than that, however. Of the two options, I think its more likely that they created placeholders on the map rather than content on a disc. Id gladly love to see video of someone in a DLC strike or Raid. Oh wait... You wont.
-
They can't "enter" the strike or raid. But they can access the areas those strikes and Raids take place. There are videos of it already man.
-
They have with video.
