Even if they gave us all of that at launch, they plan on supporting the game with content for the next several years so you will have to buy DLC anyway. DLC is not new and the from the videos I have seen of this, the content is nowhere near complete.

The content shouldnt make the game feel complete. The game should feel complete at launch and add stuff for further exploration in lore and the world its self. Not limit us to barely a story and barely explorable areas. Destiny is the best example of greed.

Dlc should be extra content, purely extra. That is why it takes time for it to come out after the game releases. You should be able to fully enjoy the game and be like "oh shit, I hope they make dlc for this game" not "well I hope the planned dlc addresses the issues with the story"

Edited by Equin0xx: 9/29/2014 2:21:39 AMI agree with you on that. My point is that people are acting surprised by this when this has been pretty common(unfortunately) for many years now. Companies like Capcom are kings of on disc dlc. But at the same time, this isnt your typical single player game so the "normal" DLC rules dont apply. It's an shooter with MMO qualities and MMO expansions arent looked at as DLC or extra content, they are required to continue progressing in the game. I'm not sure if that is what bungie is trying to do here. It's something to consider before going on a witch hunt against bungie.....
