This game isnt an MMO. Its an Online FPS for consoles, not PC. There is a big difference.

There really isn't. Destiny is essentially a simplified MMO that you play in first person.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. Destiny has many of the mechanics of (albeit simplified) an MMO. Including, apparently, a content release strategy.
