Just wanted to bring this up:
Folks have pointed out that the 2nd DLC is only 9MB or something, proof that the content is on disk.
With Dark Souls the DLC was also very small. But before the DLC came out, the game got a "patch" which was > 1GB IIRC.
I believe the point was to keep everyone's version of the game the same so they could still interact with each other in the common world, but I'm not a game designer so I don't know the exact reason.
