I see no proof of cut content. I just see proof of planned DLC.

I agree with you buddy besides they can't have any lock content on the disc seems there's no content on the damn disc to begin with The game is built into servers I don't really know much about all that crap but I do know that the disk only get you to there it's like a launcher or source or connection plus it runs random data actual content of the game is on servers at least that is my understanding of how it works I'm not a techno nerd I just know what most games like this do like Final Fantasy 14 or wow there's no actual data on any of the disks it's just a launcher so yeah seeing pieces of the game through glitches like that yeah I can understand that because they're building DLC to release it people are breaking in to basically early DLC builds hey that's just my opinion you guys obviously have your own conspiracy theories and I got mine I love Destiny it's a good game in my opinion going to great in the next few years and now that's my run on post enjoy

And I see a mindless sheep. Bungcom must be happy to have a customer like you.

Some of it is fine some is not it's NOT fine when you have an incomplete story. If you want to lock off story missions by putting it into dlc, at least have the non-dlc missions make a good, solid campaign it's fine when they lock off raids and strike, because that is jus tpart of the "random stuff to do" You don't feel anything is wrong when it's lacking, so it's fine. for story, you do feel a lack, so it's not fine
-
Calm down he has a valid opinion too. Just because the icons indicate new content does not mean it's on disc.
-
well we haven't dl any dlc yet... so where is it from if not on the disc.... from mgical fairy land?
-
Well the beta had similar icons for stuff that was not part of the beta.
-
Been a loyal fan for just about ten years now.
-
It's all on the disc already. It's cut content. Planned would be prepatches before release, but wouldnt exist on the disc. This practice is normal these days, but should still be vilified as monstrous, since it's simply greedy.

yes. The information for the Dlc can be on the disc. It doesn't mean the whole Dlc is on it but rather the framework. We'll see come release date.

Edited by Hellekeen: 9/29/2014 7:43:26 AMthe difference is: Planned DLC: the idea is there and need more time and eressources to be completed .. Cut content..: its already finsied and ready to go, nothing new, just locked away from the player so he cant access it.
-
So then you must really hate movies that add cut scenes back into movies for the home release.
-
That's not the same thing. A movie have to cut scenes because if it's too long it can be unwatchable. They can later then include these cut scenes in a Disc or bluray release as extra material. A game can be as long and have as much content as it want. But what they have done here is to choose not to include a lot of content in the game just so they can sell it back to you.
-
welcome to the new age of 'season passes" and "DLC"...its very much common practice now, just because there was a glitch in this game that let us see this, what makes you think this isnt a industry wide practice?
-
It's a shame it has to be like this
-
Edited by Tyr-Thanatos: 9/29/2014 11:52:43 AMoh i agree, i dont support it,..its the new way to generate income from existing media. It likely not going to change anytime soon. the only way to combat it is to never buy games again...but that will never happen either. So we are left to only buy games that we know we will play and games we will like.
-
It's a shame it has to be like this
The only reason its like this is because people keep supporting it and are generally "okay" with this being done. When you tell them how blind and ignorant they are, they get mad and try to tell you how companies need to make money. Tools.

Edited by SimplyB: 9/29/2014 1:48:11 PMOr we just aren't pore and don't mid paying for content. And you are in the heard of sheep that thinks everything should be free.
Or we just aren't pore and don't mid paying for content. And you are in the heard of sheep that thinks everything should be free.
Awesome. Glad to see your immaturity seeping through. I love how instead of having a mature discussion your first move is an empty insult followed by gibberish. Now if you want to be one of those said "tools", kindly shut your mouth and stand in line quietly like the other drones. You will be back in December bitching about your "expansion" not being so expansive after all.

Your calling people sheep because they don't agree with you was so classy to begin with I didn't see the need to be civil with your QQ
Your calling people sheep because they don't agree with you was so classy to begin with I didn't see the need to be civil with your QQ
Wow and this proves your deterioating mental state. You say Im like the rest of these "sheep" and then say I called you one? The retard is strong in this one.

and the only way to combat it is to voice our displeasure and never buy games again...but we both know that will never happen

Indeed We are falling prey under all the people who accept everything shoved down their throats. Blind fanboys tend to ruin things
