Reason = Longevity. Why is it most gamers are to clueless to understand this concept? If they would have given us EVERYTHING they had planed at launch, some people would have it all beaten in a few weeks, and then get bored and stop playing. DLC gives players future content to look forward to and bring them back into the game, and considering Bungie wants to keep Destiny going for 10 years, I wouldn't be surprised to see a ton of DLC. Destiny is a MMO, like WoW, more content needs to be added to keep people interested, and they charge you because simply put, making the shit is not free, so buy it or don't but I'm tired of seeing everyone cry about every DLC for every game, if it bothers you that much, find a new hobby.
