It doesn't prove they cut it. It just proves that they have planned for it.
I have no issue with this. The fact that there appears to quite a bit of it is actually VERY reassuring as far as I'm concerned.

Lol wtf Was 9/11 very reassuring to you that America would be ok?
-
Worst part is if it comes out for pc they get all of the dlc 1/2 of and "finished product" from the start
-
Exactly
-
What dr0gs are you on?
-
What drugs are you on? You took a totally non reassuring point and said it was reassuring
-
Ha ha ha... I'm just not fussed by walled off areas. Some games have shite DLC and poorly thought through addons. I think if its partially there (and partially being the important word) I'm not fussed it's not complete. No drugs unfortunately atm.
-
It's not just the walled off areas It's what they show Bungie has become a greedy cash cow
-
Games cost money. Marketing costs money. If you want them to give you EVERYTHING on day one and you then storm through it in a day or two.. What was the point of it all.
-
I don't want everything I just want enough And this is not enough
-
Fair enough. I disagree but I guess that is the nature of the beast.
-
Did you but chance read the reddit posts? Also it's obvious it's disc locked because the downloads are both less than 10 MB. They're just unlock keys. Nothing more.
-
You'll probably find that the original game disc didn't actually have the 'game' on it either. The discs you buy are more often than not the unlock key to download it.
-
Semantics. The game comes with content being played off as DLC and, despite the fact that it's been designed and populated, we are stuck unable to play it because they didn't provide us with the unlock key.
-
The spaces I've seen ( three of them ) are most certainly not finished and the only way people have moved through them is by glitching. There were also a total of 0 enemies ( in the clips I saw ). I really don't understand why you are whining.
-
One of them is fully populated with a boss at the end, called an Ultra Captain. But you don't seem to understand how this works. Yes you have to glitch into the areas to access them, because they've been walled off to create the illusion that they aren't there. And they appear to not be finished because you lack the activation key to trigger them. But the coding is there, the design is there, the info is there and in one case the actual level is there but with none of the objectives. You can tell it was hastily cut by taking the ultra captain as example. The entire mission structure is in that level, but you just can't trigger it; so you can easily see it was a rushed job. I'm complaining because I don't like getting screwed by game devs and publishers who lock half their game behind a pay wall.
-
I hadn't seen that one. Which level is that?
-
Yes, they're unlock keys. They are keys that unlock your ability to download the expansions when they're released without having to buy them again.
-
According to everything I've heard, The expansions are the unlock keys, that's the point. You don't download the expansion you just download the key and you can play the "expansions" already on the disc.
-
Instead of basing your beliefs on hearsay, you should probably look into it a little deeper and try applying logical thought processes to it. You don't download the expansion because it hasn't been released yet. There's nothing to download yet. MS's servers simply have a placeholder key that tells the game and MS themselves that you've paid for it.
-
A good point. And sadly one that will probably go unheard.
