Borderlands 2, Skyrim, and Fallout New Vegas. Thats how DLC should work. I want a full game, and I want the option to buy more of that game, not because I need it to finish the story, but because I want more from that game world.
Plus your 75% estimate is probably a little high lol. Maybe 50% considering the DLC is half again the size of the game...

Indeed Those games did DLC right. They had a proper base game that could satisfy and then later if people wanted more, they created more.
