Was Alpha/Beta for Everquest 1. Been playing MMO's for almost 18 years.
The way how I write? You mean, grammatically correct?
Simple facts are very simple in this case.
Bungie launched Destiny with the CODE available on the disc. That code is not finished code. It's simply the base for later content that you WILL have to download.
This is true of the INDUSTRY in and of, itself.
Metro, Skyrim, Injustice, GTA, Battlefield...I could honestly do this all day! Why? Because we as gamers supported the trend until it became mainstream...Period. We're our own worst enemy.
Skyrim DID have base content available on the day 1 disc. Battlefield: Same. Metro: Same. There is NOT a recent release where day 1 content in at least it's code form, has not been on the disc. - That's just a cold hard fact.
If you don't like this trend, stop supporting it but, again, whining on a forum that "Bungie" apparently cut content, when 1) They didn't and 2) This is now how the industry functions -- Is completely and utterly absurd, idiotic, stupid and hypocritical.
I don't see any of you complaining @ EA. I don't see any of you banging on their doors about day 1 DLC premium content available only if you pay...But, I do see you complaining here.
Perhaps it's time to address the root of the problem as opposed to your next game fad?
