Destiny 2 will receive an update tomorrow. Players will be required to log in to Destiny 2 again after installing the update. Please stay tuned to @BungieHelp for updates.
Im writing this post hoping that someone at bungie will get a hold f it and maybe spread the word around the office. I love this game and want it to succeed in the future so i thought i might throw out some realistic suggestions to spice up the game a bit before the first DLC.
1. Take the "weekend crucible playlists" game types and make them permanent additoons to the crucible after thier featured weekend. You already have the matchtype made why not leave it in the game. I get you want to have this showy limited time feel to some of the game modes to make the expirience feel more fresh but that would only work if u had more game types to begin with. I mean come on do u think 4 crucible game types and 3 of which are just deathmatch with different team scales will keep people entertained till that next dlc comes out? No probably not.
2. Add a few more vehicles to the combined arms maps. As of now its basically the same as deathmatch on those bigger maps. You want everyone riding those vehicles to really make it feel like a diffrent game mode. Havent seen many people talk about this but yea its basically deathmatch but only on the bigger maps that you can also use vehicles on in deathmatch.
3. Add maybe a few obvious game types to the mix (capture the flag, plant the bomb, etc.). These modes couldnt be too difficult to add to the game. Im not a game developer so i dont really know but it seems like an easy step to add more crucible content to keep us playing while you develop further awesome story content! You should be able to install these on current maps without having to release the new maps till further DLC.
4. Allow the players to get full exotic gear. After you get full legendary gear and you one exotic and your one exotic weapon the strange coins become useless. If you let players get more exotics they will have more to play for and they will play to get more exotics! in future DLCs you could always add a NEW TIER of armor and weapons that outclass exotics and have some new name like Holy Gear or Ascendant Gear or Godly gear it really doesnt matter.
5. Plain and simple dont add anymore reputation systems. I think me and most other players had fun with this up till we got our legendarys now new tiers are really quite pointless since all they will get u is some legendary package in the post which we do not need. Also the queens reputation system was only usefu for low level players to grind out legendarys fast but useless to higher players so really not much content was added by putting that in the game. Use uyour man power on more useful parts of the game.
6. Buff Bad JUJU. This is a personal one for me haha. I have fully upgraded mine and it is super awesome at clearing lower level waves but against stronger enemies you are just realoading 24/7. The clip is very much unexotic haha.
Well thats all the suggestions i have. I realize it is very heavy on the crucible side but i feel like that is an area that is more easily improved to provide the longevity to the game as possible. Story and raids take alot of time to produce content for but the crucible can be bumped up to new heights with simple steps. Anyway if
you all have in more simple suggestions to add to the game itd be awesome if you could add them below hopefully bungie will head our call!
Cheers, Wombat
