Add singleplayer offline please!
Please add singleplayer offline! My internet is not that great, and I feel alienated from a game that I spent $60 on. Bungie, please just do this. Until you do it, you lose some respect from me. Amazing game though.

I echo the same thoughts, not that I don't love the multiplayer interaction but it seem like my comcast internet is always taking a shit on me so offline play would be nice to atleast farm for engrams/upgrade materials......and btw DO NOT discard your materials like hadronic essence...I thought, well I need some glimmer and I have around 700 of these damn things I may try it out, thinking of selling one at a time....and in one moment of complete stupidity I deleted all of my hadronic essence...with nothing in return but a broken heart and un upgradable legendary/exotic gear until I farm the hell out of armor....I died a little inside just then

They are not going to do so, for the toons are stored server side and not client side to prervent anyone from trying to mod them as is done in almost every other game where your toon data is stroed on your console.
