the denial is real.
This game is shit. But every day you'll see at least 5 desticles come out of the closet and defend their beloved game "destiny"...
What do you even find good in this game
Pros:
Soundtrack
Skyboxes and artstyle
Cons:
Unoriginal gameplay
Fücking grind to hell
Repetitiveness
Etc.
There will be at least ten desticles defending their game on this thread...

Denial? I don't see denial. I see different opinions and perspectives being shared on these forums. Not exactly people in denial. I enjoy the game. Am I in denial? No. I understood the games scope and its limitations before the game was released. But I still enjoy it. Some on these forums need to begin to realize that their form of reality isn't universal nor absolute truth.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. I don't agree that Destiny sucks. I'm not ignoring its bug, flaws, and lack of story. I'm choosing to look past them. These are just my opinions. You have yours. I have my own.

4 RepliesI like when people use the word desticle. It's like calling someone "kid." It's an instant indicator that you have nothing intelligent to add to the conversation. It's the last resort of a mind that can't form a cogent argument. It's helpful, though, because it let's me know I can stop caring instantly. It immediately invalidates anything that came before or after, clearing the rest of the community from any real or perceived responsibility to do so. It's like poor grammar, excessive use of caps, or bigotry. It's a self-inflicted brand, warning off anyone with a reasonable amount of self respect or common sense; a luxury we can normally only dream of.

1 ReplyI feel that if we weren't teased about what destiny could have been pre collapse, nobody would cry. It's an enjoyable game and I actually don't mind the grind for the joy it brings of success. Everyone has an opinion, don't think yours is gospel.

Ya I can't remember the last time I got bored of a game this quick...anybody still in love with it at this point just hasn't figured out the psychology behind these games, they give you a trivial reward now and then like you give a dog treats just to say "hey keep doin it your doin a good job!" And people get stuck mindlessly grinding for nothing...hopefully once you realize your just a hamster in bungies rickety wheel you'll stop defending this lackluster game like you actually have a personal investment in it. Lol Desticles...
