Why is Bungie banning players for glitching into content that's already included on the disc? That seems more than a little unfair.
I bet a sandwich from Jimmy John's that DeeJ doesn't respond to this perfectly valid question. If he does, I'll buy him that sandwich. No shit.

Just make you you let him know that he's not allowed to eat the last 1/4 of the sammich because he has to wait till December
-
Because it makes them look bad, that's why.
-
I would presume that it's out of suspicion of tampering; which, if that is the case, would probably be the doing of Microsoft. Furthermore, you forgot to perform the DeeJ summoning ceremony (not sure what it is but from what I've seen, I would imagine something along the lines of directly blaming bungie for a child's poor behavior of sorts :P)
-
I'll eat my metaphorical hat if he does.
-
I was told it was activision who was doing this and not bungie. After all bungie is the one who said that they wouldnt ban for exploiting the cave and they havent. Id trust bungie more than activision
-
Jimmy Johns. The fastest mofos around.
-
Because it's exploiting it.
-
I want that sammich.

Edited by Carpetfluff: 9/30/2014 9:18:53 AMBy all accounts they were modders too; it's even stated that they want to hear from people if you find this sort of glitch and 'won't be mad' in the code of conduct. Just glitching into something won't get you banned; there are several walls that can be fallen through just by the dumb luck of using your vehicle in the right proximity to them - you can't ban someone for falling through a geometry glitch. People who've done it and picked up the dead ghost in there haven't been banned. The banned party had the ghost shell equipped that there's no current way to earn bar modding it from the code.
