I am currently studying game development at college and are theme is science fiction I came up with this cool concept tell me what you think and how I could improve it.
Name: Silent Warfare

In Silent Warfare the main Character is Luke Reed. It is based in the future what time in the future is unknown. Luke is fighting for the rebellion against an organisation that took over the world. The twist is that Luke will never fire a gun because when he was 12 he and his parents were walking home from a restaurant and were kidnapped by a gang that forced Luke to shoot his own parents or they would kill him, he killed his parents after that the gang tried to recruit him but he ran away. The things that he most remembered about the gang are that the guns that they carried had blue triggers, and the men had tattoos of a handgun with a blue trigger. The gang that he now wants to destroy controls the world. Luke won’t use a gun so his weapon of choice is a knife. The player has to use stealth to their advantage as his enemies have guns. The game has a vast selection of bladed weapons from throwing knifes to energy swords and a good selection of clothing, the further you progress through the game the better stuff you can get.

I think it's a good idea. Kinda unique, going futuristic but only knives/swords. Would make the game quite a challenge and all that. Would you be thinking at having the game have a similar movement to assassins creed (I mean by like jump and run on anything, climb whatever, etc.) but maybe more stealthy than assassins creed (because we all know half the time in assassins creed you get into combat against like 10 guards and just spam parry/strike)
