Destiny 2 will receive an update tomorrow. Players will be required to log in to Destiny 2 again after installing the update. Please stay tuned to @BungieHelp for updates.
Lets talk about content, but not the lack of it. Lets talk about upcoming content ^_^.
First, and lets get this out of the way, i like this game. Actually i love it. But i will admit that things aren't exactly all sunshine and roses.
So i thought that a good topic of discussion would be upcoming content, or rather, what when and how that content will be added. Ill break it up into sections for easier reading.
Strikes
Strikes are actually pretty good now. The way i see it is even if the bosses aren't the hardest things ever its still a blast to take down a giant enemy regardless. Plus coming from FFXIV dungeons aren't usually the hardest content in mmos and most can be kind of mindlessly ran through but not so easy that its boring.
Now what i want from strikes are just more of them, every month to be exact. Release a strike every month or two, or better yet two a month. This way we can have more easy stuff to do while we wait for the next raid. Also, make those strikes drop unique gear. and make it so you need a few pieces to progress to another strike. This way you can pad content and make the strikes worthwhile to do over and over again until more content comes out.
Getting the gear from strikes will also be beneficial to my next point.
Raids
Oh yes the big boy. The grand daddy of all content The feature that separates Destiny from other fps games that basically evolve into walk straight while shooting things. And as crazy as it may seems, we dont need another one of these for awhile. But we do need more raids before expansion, At least 1 in my opinion.
I personally like the difficulty of the raids. I know that people dont like the way it devolves into defending things but as long as we get less of that next raid its good. Plus as a start, Vault Of Glass is DAMN good. Just keep doing what your doing with raids bungie but switch up mechanics next time. Just make sure we get another one for free.
Story
Save it for expansion, just make sure to add it in this time. Also Grim Cards in game please.
Crucible
Add in more modes and maybe a way to make custom matches. Other than that QoL stuff would be great.
Emotions
Make it so i can have a static emotion, like crossing my arms or reading maps on my ghost in third person. This is mainly for screenshot reasons.
Side Note::Photo Mode and hud toggle please.
Loot Caves
..........................
Overall
So the schedule would be: {Strike>Strike>Raid} with pvp stuff in between.
With strikes having unique gear needed to progress and with them becoming more difficult without making them too hard i feel like we can get a good progression going until expansion where we get more story missions and Strikes/raids galore.
The way I see it is that all this game needs is to hold us over until the first expansion. If they can show us that they are willing to go above and beyond to add content then we can have a pretty unique experience.
Destiny may not be the GOTY we wanted but its damn sure one of the more unique shooters of recent times and we should be excited to see it rise (or fail). Basically Bungie, your move, show us the content you promised us and show us you are listening to our suggestions.
Also i really want that hud toggle/photo mode.........make it happen please.
Sorry for the sloppy writing im pretty tired and sick just though id share what im thinking.
