Defeat the fallen walker 3 times
I played devil's lair at least 9 times to get the credit for the three kills to register.
It turns out that you have to be the kill shot or be in close proximity of the person who is.
That got me thinking about the loot cave.
I would sit next to the guys firing into the cave and my gear would level up.
Does the close proximity attribute apply with all enemies in Destiny?

It applies to all enemy's you can go up to a random person and get the experience and chance of a loot drop if you stand right next to them.
