Where are those numbers from? I remember seeing on release night a +30gb download.

My install size for the digital Guardian edition was 18GB. But before release there were pictures of the back of packaging that said "40GB required". I haven't looked at any of the boxes myself though. http://www.trustedreviews.com/news/destiny-xbox-one-install-size-is-40gb
