Both are very fun. I played as a hunter in the beta and a warlock is my character for the game itself right now. Both of them can be very useful in crucible with the right subclasses set up ( though I think hunter outclasses warlock a little because of bladedancer) if you like to play a little bit up close and personal the hunter would be the easy choice. if you'd like something very different I'd go the warlock.
