"Use Void Damage to defeat Guardians in Crucible. Death will slow your progress"
Does anyone have any tips for doing this step in Thorn quest line? I just find it ridiculous how hard it is to do this when everyone is comfortable running around in their primaries while I'm forced to use crappy Void Fusion Rifle, or Heavy weapon which I never have ammo for. And I also want to mention that I'm not good at multiplayer so yeah...
How are people completing this quest? Or should I just abandon since I'm reading that Thorn is not very good anyways...

Atheons epilogue/word of crota Comedian/swordbreaker/any fusion rifle Swarm/any void MG Even if you keep. 1.0 kd youll still do it.

Get aetheon's epilogue, a void sniper and void machine gun. The sniper will get you kills and keep you away from most enemies which lowers your deaths. The epilogue is not a great PvP assault riffle but is a void primary that will kill at close range.

Atheon's epilogue for primary , preadith's revenge for special , corrective measure for heavy ... All void damage gun .. With those it'll be extremly easy bounty

First off, Thorn is an awesome hand cannon. Totally worth the effort since they buffed it a while back. As for the bounty, you just gotta be that dick with a Void shotgun or fusion rifle (unless you man one of the Void primaries from the raids).

I waited till I got it on my voidwalker. Added grenades and nova bomb to the mix and only took me a couple days of off and on crucible. I'm not that good in crucible either (check my k/d)...

If you have it on your warlock go voidwalker. Titan use the void nades. Guns, atheons, word of crota, void shotguns/fusions/sniper, and the best one, corrective measure.

Finished this in 5 rounds using uncommon green fusion rifle from gunsmith voidwalker and corrective measure.

Skirmish and use the Truth as exotic. Having both other void weapons helps a lot more, but each rocket from Truth is a near-guaranteed kill and you get 4 from heavy ammo.

I used void walker (warlock) with a void shotgun and rocket launcher as I have no void primary. Choose your maps that you're familiar with and like. Camp the heavy ammo and play control. I was fortunate to have heart of priaxis chest. Don't give up man if I can complete it believe me anyone CAN!

I chose thorn to be my last bounty simply because of the pvp side of the bounty. However, I went in with all void weapons, Atheon's Epilogue, Judgement VI, and Truth. Took about 6 games to complete it.

Use a Warlock on Voidwalker with Atheon's Epilogue, Swordbreaker/Praedyth's, and Corrective Measure. Piece of cake.

Edited by RevBlev: 1/28/2015 5:19:26 PMAtheon's Epilogue Now you can get also The Word of Crota that is Void as well Ive done this 3 times twice with the 331 model. If found it extremely long with the Hunter because he has no void class. Voidwalking Warlocks make it extremely easy.

Camp and horde heavy ammo. It's a shitty way to play but it'll get the job done

If you are a warlock or Titan use your void subclass abilities and that fusion rifle or a void shotgun and barrel stuff the shit outta them

I have a maxed 300 thorn that I used to get my 331 maxed thorn, all my characters have the thorn bounty and I have WoC so I'm good lol But on a serious note use a primary you don't feel you need to use a lot, use a void special that you like and use a slow rate of fire heavy machine gun
