"Use Void Damage to defeat Guardians in Crucible. Death will slow your progress"
Does anyone have any tips for doing this step in Thorn quest line? I just find it ridiculous how hard it is to do this when everyone is comfortable running around in their primaries while I'm forced to use crappy Void Fusion Rifle, or Heavy weapon which I never have ammo for. And I also want to mention that I'm not good at multiplayer so yeah...
How are people completing this quest? Or should I just abandon since I'm reading that Thorn is not very good anyways...

Do crota hard mode and try to get the word of crota, nice handcannon for pvp if you have that bounty

I used a rare fusion rifle called that beautiful glow. It took me probably a total of 5 hours. It's not too bad I suggest just backing out of any matches where you seem to be playing really shitty so you don't lose a ton of ground on the bounty.

Do it with a couple friends in skirmish, it keeps your KD high so you lose less points, use Atheon's Epilogue, any void shotgun, and your preferred void LMG, i got the bounty done in about an hour and a half including the PVP part with this setup

If you want to miss out on one of the best handcannons in game, give up. If not, suck it up and get grinding.

Primary: Atheon's Epilogue or Word of Crota (if you have access to it). Choosing between those two will be based upon whether you prefer hand cannons or high RoF, low impact auto rifles. Secondary: Praedyth's Revenge or void fusion rifle of a popular model (I don't use fusion rifles in crucible outside of the Vex- they don't do to others what they do to me haha). Heavy: Corrective Measure or Truth Corrective Measure will let you string together a longer kill chain, but every Truth rocket you shoot is pretty much going to be a kill. This bounty seems like a beat, but just stock up on crucible bounties every day and stop playing crucible when you get that day's bounties done so you don't lose your damn mind!

Get a machine gun with void. Play smart, profit.

Athens epilogue if you can get it is really helpful, also run as defender Titan or Voidwalker warlock if you can as their melee and grenade does void damage. As does nova bomb on Voidwalker. Other than that, play Control and camp like a mofo if you need to. Don't head out like a lone wolf. Thorn is worth it, you can do it.

As a Hunter with no native Void attack modes, the first time I ran the Thorn bounty, I camped Control with a void MG and either a void fusion rifle or sniper. It took me a few days. After winning Atheon's Airsoft Rifle, I knocked out my second Thorn bounty in about a day. I really don't give that stupid AR enough credit. It's good for two things: Void burn Nightfall strikes, and the Void Damage section of the Thorn bounty. I don't even use it in the VoG anymore. If I need to kill Oracles, I'll use Super Good Advice (at least until Bungie patches the "disappearing heavy ammo on spawn" glitch).

Enemies are invulnerable 2. they go down with half bullet leave the server if you see that you need two fusion shots to take the down. keep playing when you see you kill them with an half-miss. In such servers you can easily go 25-5. And moreover CAMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chose alleys where they cannot jump or teleport. I completed the Thorn bounty in 1,5 days with a blu fusion rifle, and I NEVER PLAYED CRUCIBLE BEFORE. NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Freakin Atheons Epilogue was god awful, and I was forced to use it.. thx bungie. seriously, 0 impact high fire rate auto rifles are complete garbo.

Thorn is fantastic. Use an Atheon's Epilogue or Word of Crota if you can, and pick up a Void shotty. Camp and play safe.

Got mine as a voidbringer warlock, using atheons epilogue, 77 Wizard & Truth. I even urinated void damage I had that much coming out!

When I did this bounty twice, my setup was Atheons epilogue, rare fusion rifle, corrective measure while on my void walker warlock. It took my 2 hours to finally finish it. I'm not good at crucible too but I played clash so I can see my score and if my score was bad I'd tried harder in the next game.
