I find this to be a little posh, I don't go posting reasons to be an omnivore, mostly because I imagine people have tried different foods and decided what they like, while also maintaining a health diet. ( saying that last part makes me a bit of a person who should do what they tell others to ) I enjoy eating meats and will continue to do do, but I am against animal cruelty and if it's an option I would like to buy from more reputable sources.

Edited by PietjeVM: 10/4/2014 10:38:22 AMPeople have chosen their type of food because everyone else chose it, when you are really open minded and know and consider all the things I listed, you're vegan.

isn't it in a way being closed minded for not trying meat? I'm not sure if you have or have not recently, but I'm assuming you've been vegan for a while.
-
You're wrong again, I started this juli and vecause I'm only 16 I can't always choose what I eat and when I have to eat meat, I don't even like the taste.
-
can't we just agree to disagree?
-
Only if we have a reason to

I don't like arguments that aren't going to change anyone's views on something but will attempt to. also they tend to lead to both sides just hating each other, and I don't like hate.

I don't hate people who eat meat, most of them just don't know it's wrong and for some reason when you DO know, it's still hard to feel inside of you it's wrong. I knew about factory farms for a long time, only when I heard about all the other issues, I started thinking about the problem and went vegan and now, even if all the other problems would be solved, I would be vegan for factory farms only. Humans are complicated. But I can always try to inform people about the problem, maybe I can change something...
