WHY ARE THESE TOOLBAGS RUNNING THROUGH MAPS?

Since when has this been the cool thing to do? About a week ago is when it started getting annoying... I have to deal with at least one guy running ahead and leaving every single enemy alive and well behind him. They dont save any time by doing this, they make it more challenging to clear that part of the map, and besides saving what ammo they have (assuming enemies dont drop any for them) i cant find a good reason for doing this. Id love to see something to prevent people from doing this or at least add "runner" to the player report. Way too many "unhelpful" players without counting these toolbags that run through the map. To whoever I've been annoying by doing this, if I HAVE indeed done this; I apologize. I've reasoned it so that we should get to the "point" of the strike as fast as we can - as I've figured the lower level enemies don't pose any challenge, real benefit or entertainment to us and that killing everything we come across would only waste the time of the group, when we can obviously all do it with our own time, separately, whenever we want. Or with friends in PATROL instead of strike. And I've personally done all those strikes and missions so many times, that they're already kinda "boring" - and if I only have a bounty, to go and kill the last boss, I'd like to hurry up to the "meat" of that strike - if that's ok with everyone else :/ It's definately not that I want to be annoying or definately haven't considered it being "unhelpful" or a bad sport. Though to be fair, I've usually been the SECOND guy of the group, with the first guy of the group running so fast he doesn't even have time to notice if engrams drop.. But.. just one question; If there are runners, do you run aswell? Are you pressured to go faster? As if you are just going along with their pace, they have no way to even realize you'd like to take it slower. Just saying... I'm willing to wait if someone has something to do, but so far I haven't noticed anyone slowing down :P
