I agree with you buddy. I know A LOT of people on here are giving you greif on here and are saying they're happy to spend the $40/£30 on EVERY SINGLE DLC that Bungie puts out and you shouldn't expect to get anything for free. I understand that the developers of the game need to get paid for the work that they've done, but the cost to make this game is completely disproportionate to the game that we all received. If I use Batman Arkham Asylum/Batman Arkham City as an example: the cost to make the game was a fraction of what Destiny cost and the story was wonderfully compelling. I could play that game over and over and not get bored. Destiny follows a very repetitive formula: mission start - travel to first conflict - fight simple enemies - travel to next conflict - fight tougher enemies with respawn restricrions - travel to final conflict - fight endless waves of enemies whilst chipping away at the health of a strike target/boss. Repeating the same thing OVER AND OVER isn't compelling and I PERSONALLY (meaning my PERSONAL opinion) don't give a hoot about levelling up my armor as I finished what little they offered of a story in a few hours and didn't feel compelled to do any more. I feel cheated out of the good game that Bungie promised and think they'll have to do something pretty miraculous to get ten months out of this games longevity - never mind their predicted ten years.. I realise that this comment will probably receive negative responses from the Destiny community and rest assured I am completely disinterested if you disagree with me. What I have written is MY OPINION of the game and whether you disagree with me or not is irrelevant.

  • So you didn't read the DLC pass which cost about $34.99 that is not one DLC that is for two DLC's so really that $17.50 each DLC which is about what 99% of all DLC prices.

  • I wouldn't pay $1 for DLC until the game I paid $60 for actually measured up to their promises. If you want to pay $30 for two DLCs go ahead, I won't tell you you're wrong. My point was (and from what I understand this opinion is very much shared by the thread creator) it's not the cost of the DLC that's an issue - this whole thread is about getting what we paid for (which we certainly are not at the moment). The thread creator is simply asking for Bungie to deliver a complete story that we can be satisfied with and then any extra they want to come up with afterwards I'd be happy to pay for. I'm not being stingy, I just wish I'd known what this game was going to be like before purchase as I could've saved myself $60 and bought something that would keep me interested for more than a week.
