I may, when i get the money for it, and I'm certainly looking forward to it. but even though I'm still missing a chunk of the fun, I'd have to pay 160 bucks total to "get everything out of" this game. no, i'm not comfortable paying all of that, but the part of the game you don't have to pay extra for is still lacking. my position, i suppose isn't just a "me versus destiny" position, but also a position of "me versus our current gaming culture", where we're okay with literally paying hundreds of dollars to corporations for stuff that's not even complete. some people like that culture, not bashin on them. not gonna say they can't do that, but i just wanted to say from the start that if they're gonna do that, at least finish the damn thing first.
I see it the same way as if Bungie made some missions in Halo 3 subscription-only, or just released the first four missions of it and had the rest as DLC.
but Halo isn't Destiny, it's more like Halo and Skyrim had a lovechild with Borderlands that developed a fixation on time-traveling space robots that would give the doctor the heebie jeebies, and space magic.
