speed running has been around since before the first metroid prime games, so.... yeah. That thing you said about it being a symtom of the "go,go,go" era is kind of empiricaly wrong. I'm glad you leave when things dont go your way, but you are not entitled to a team that plays the way you want unless you build that team.

Whatever Obiseo. First Metroid? Great stuff, you sound like a typical elitist prick. Get off your soapbox. Bye.
-
Go play a turn based rpg or words with friends. Leave the big games to the grown ups.
-
Yeah you sound really grown up son.
-
34 and counting whipper snapper. You youngins are so entitled.
-
I'm 33 mate. What you want a medal?
-
You're -blam!-ing 33 and whining about people wanting to get through a strike quicker? Lolololol
-
The dude above me was 34 arguing the opposite? No one is whining. What's your point boy? It's there for discussions. Laters kid.
-
You're calling me boy without even knowing my age. Further proof of your immaturity at the age of 33. If you weren't a moron you'd realize people like to play games differently and matchmaking can't read minds. So BOY, grow the -blam!- up.
-
Correct, just like you jumped into a thread with a flippant comment when you clearly never read what else has been said. You arrogant prick. I get done with this thread, even reach a decent conclusion with some of the cool people discussing (that's not you by the way), and then there is always someone flapping their cockholster (boom, this is you) that wanders in thinking he is some kind of witty badass. Thinking that he is super cool with some childish comment that adds nothing. You were yesterday's winner. Congratulations.
-
You sound slightly mad. Oh and if you were actually done with this conversation there is this thing called not responding.
-
Not mad mate, doesn't cost me anything. That last message took me 60 seconds. Hardly indicative of madness. Just a joke how many imbeciles make comments on posts with 30+ replies without reading any of them. Yet then have the audacity to make immature and unrelated comments that add nothing to the discussion. I said I was done with the thread because some of the decent people that can read, digest and discuss what someone else is saying had finished. I never said I wasn't done to come back and out some peasants in their place. The bit replying thing works both ways too. You know you initiated this by talking about maturity right? Ha ha what a -blam!-ing joke.
-
Actually I initiated by laughing at a grown man whining about a video game. You then proceeded to deflect the comment and only mention the other guy who was 34. Not to mention that from the waste of space you're writing responding to someone who basically just asked "are you mad bro?" Is -blam!-ing hilarious. I never intended to add anything to this useless conversation. There was only ever one end result to it into the first place. You play how you want and if you don't like how other people play find people who want to play the same as you. But you have fun sitting over there with your " kids these days" attitude thinking the Internet is srs business.
-
Waste of space? You know this doesn't use paper right? The actual point is that killing or skipping first make any difference in reality to speed of completion. That's all my point was. If people actually timed it they would see. And no, I don't need to find groups of like minded players. I do that for raids. Most of the people from matchmaker actually play the strikes properly. It's not rife, just the occasional moron that wants to skip everything pops up and I just return to orbit. Maybe the badass 'speed runners' should find like minded people instead of trying to impose their childish play style on people in the matchmaker, which goes against how the game was designed to be played.
-
Didn't read past your first sentence. You don't know the difference between figurative and literal. I'm done.
-
K bye
-
Doesn't* not first.
-
Kid, this is not call of duty. You do the strike and get it over. If you wanna goto areas and kill stuff then patrol. I play all sorts of games varying from atari 2600, to counter strike on pc to warcraft 3, LoL, Dota 2, WoW, CoD, and as a competitive fps player I can assume that you think this game is all about what you want and everyone else is wrong. Best bet... Get over it because Destiny combines the players of fps and mmo and running straight to the point is an mmo persona...
-
And it doesn't combine anything from MMO's. It had a gear screen, and equip slots. That's it. It's not an MMO. It's a first person shooter, with a couple of RPG style features.
-
I haven't played CoD since CoD 4, probably because of so called 'competitive' players like you. Competitive in this case meaning people that find any cheese, glitch or way of abusing a game system to then think they are brilliant. Good for you. Grow up. I had a 2600 as well, what you want a -blam!-ing medal? You think you are some old school gamer or something? Lol. Ok son. You like all the others are blowing this thread out of proportion. This is what my point had been since the beginning; People run strikes and try skip past some of the enemy groups. Not patrol mobs, I mean actual enemies in the strikes. In reality you can kill those groups, almost as fast as you skip them if you are not retarded. It's hardly any faster to try and skip, it's childish, and it's cleaner to just kill. Some people actually play first person shooters to shoot things. The fact so many kids are jumping in here trying to justify this is brilliant. That's it. Why is that so had to understand? And you called me a CoD player. Lol. Whatever man. Get over yourself. It's killing mobs we are talking about, in a game based around killing mobs. Nothing more.
-
Really no reason to call people retarded, its pretty offensive and disrespectful to people struggling with the issue. Please use a different word set when trying to offend people contrary to your opinion. Thank you.
-
Fair point, however I'm sure you know it's a figure of speech and not meant as a personal slight against anyone with the actual condition.
-
Still gets hard to hear with an autistic family member.
-
Point taken mate. I apologise.
-
You don't offend me man, it's just a sensitive subject.
