Option 1- FREE weekly small updates and changes, then we pay for the big DLCs (expansions) for them to have an incentive to keep working on it....oh wait.... Option 2- pay 15$ a month and then big dlcs for free would be ok. Option 3- go get a job and work for free because that is what you are asking from bungie... or maybe they could put ads in the loading screens lol

  • I could also never buy a Bungie game ever again and appeal for my peers to do the same, because not admitting your mistakes and not fixing a broken product is a terrible customer policy no other industry would ever dare to try. How it works on paper and how it works with humans involved are two very, very different things, and good managers recognize it. Good companies accept financial losses where there is significant reputation damage possible. With the profit they are sure to be making on Destiny, I don't think asking for a fix is disproportionate. It's asking for a lot simply because the issue is that big, and because in many places, this very industry has got refunds impossible on discs. Allowing dysfunctional games to keep our money without a fix is bad money management for any consumer. No sensible person would buy a car they can never modify if the wheels and the brakes were extras. Extras are for the fancy things, not the required parts. Both Bungie and Activision can't have their cake and eat it too. There is no doubt in my mind that Activision is the root of the problem, but taking their money was Bungie's decision, and if this is all they have to show for it, if it makes them unable to fix their game, then I find no value in forking more of my money to them. They share the blame. I bought an edition that came with the DLC because I was rolling on Bungie's reputation. I now regret that decision, and still will if the DLCs fix everything. If anything, I can thank Bungie for giving me firsthand experience as to why I should never buy anything that isn't released. Not everyone delivers on their promises.

Completely agree with you Lost. I'm fairly positive that this will be the last Bungie product I ever throw money at.
