- Factions battle each other, fighting for planet territories and resources that will make all members of the factions stronger / benefit from it. Still incorporates in game enemies and people not wishing to get caught in the cross fire can select diplomatic immunity. Clans within the faction become local warlords with their small conquered territory that they must defend in order to keep. Their territory will provide weekly resources that their members can use in game for their weapons, equipment and contributes back to the faction. Balanced resource management and provisioning will be key for that to work. - Ability to pay to have ascendent material removed from existing equipment and weapons so they can be reassigned. - Reasources / loot show up on radar. - Economy & trading system, minimal the ability to trade. - Factions have communicated political goals, history / back story and beliefs so one would align themselves to what the faction is about. - Covert Ops missions against other factions and in game enemies. In the Faction wars, this is based on real time battlefield conditions and territories. - Teleporting to popular local locations without having to go into orbit. - More frequent drops of legendary and exotic
