Well, when you use 100 animals a year and every animal has eaten a big amount of food during his whole lifetime, imagine what a waste of food it is compared to vegans who eat their food directly! There's also alot of methane coming from livestock and don't say "little farms are small, so there isn't alot of methane coming from them" because you still use the same amount of meat, it would just require more, small farms to replace one big farm.
