Halo was originally supported by Macintosh. And bungie isn't on the best of terms with Microsoft.

Wasn't the first gameplay footage, from back when it was supposed to be Mac, shown on a pc? "Originally supported" is strong language. Bungie was just upset that Microsoft world have wanted us playing [b]Halo: Destiny[/b]
