Where does it say each class Has to play a singular role?
They gave us multiple subclasses so we can play multiple roles in different situations.

If they're not meant to play different roles, then WHAT THE -blam!- IS THE POINT OF HAVING DIFFERENT CLASSES!? If you play a Titan, you should play it like a Titan. You're given certain abilities for a reason. You're meant to charge into the fray, punch people in the face, clear objectives with a huge burst of energy, and pop open defensive shields to defend you and your friends from whatever the enemy does to retaliate. If you want ranged abilities, then switch to a Hunter and use Golden Gun, or switch to a Warlock and sling Nova Bombs everywhere. That's the point. The classes are meant to fill specific roles... they aren't meant to fill every role. That's the entire point of making that decision in the first place. The Titans don't "need" a range ability... there are already two classes that have those. They don't need it anymore than Hunters "need" an ability that allows them to instantly cast it and kill whatever in a certain radius. They're not meant to fill that role... so they don't have that ability.

Ah ya you pretty much just answered your own complaining Titan can be a pretty important role in a raid as can every class you just need to figure that role out and utilize your abilities to play it perfectly. I did a raid with 4 titans and 2 hunters titans are perfect for keeping the portals open during atheon and fist of havoc is a life saver if you struggle with keeping enemy's from sacrificing themselves at certain parts. Every class can play every role in a raid but some If utilized correctly can make boss fights extremely easy.
